Amanda Cardy

North East Node Coordinator (NHS Grampian, NHS Orkney, NHS Shetland)

Amanda Cardy has an MSc in Public Health from the University of Aberdeen and has worked in medical research for the last 20 years. She has worked on a wide range of studies including those investigating the epidemiology of conditions such as congenital defects, colorectal cancer, childhood brain tumours, as well as the effects of early life experience on adult health. She has been the local coordinator of the Northeast Node of the network since 2005.
